VACUUM ASPIRATION SYRINGE MANUAL MVA PLUS

Ipas MVA Plus^® is a safe, effective, and affordable medical device used for uterine evacuation up to 12 weeks gestation and endometrial biopsy. Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA) is the method of choice for uterine evacuation recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Inernational Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO).

• Reusable up to 25 times where regulations allow

• Cylinder marks in 10 cc increments to measure evacuated uterine contents

• Provides a minimum vacuum of 22 inches or 558.8mm which is maintained for at least 30 minutes

• Provides a holding capacity of 60cc

• Sterilized by steam autoclavable for 30 minutes at 250°F (121°C); or by standard cold methods, dissasembled must be fully immersed: Cidex^® (2% glutaralydehyde solution) for 10 hours, Sporox^®II for 6 hours

• High level disinfected in boiling water for 20 minutes; or by standard cold methods, disassembled parts must be fully immersed: Cidex^® (2% glutaralydehyde solution) for 20 minutes, 0.5% Chlorine solution for 20 minutes, Sporox^®II for 30 minutes
