Return Policy – FOLKS MEDICAL SUPPLIES

Thank you for shopping at Folks Medical Supplies. We strive to provide high-quality medical supplies and ensure your satisfaction. Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the sensitive nature of medical products and for hygiene and safety reasons, not all items are eligible for return. Returns are only accepted under the following conditions:

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging unless the product is faulty upon opening and using.

  • The return request is made within 14 working days of delivery.

  • The product was not marked as “Final Sale” or non-returnable.

  • The product is not a sterile, perishable, or temperature-sensitive item, unless it arrived damaged or defective.


2. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on the following:

  • Items requiring refrigeration or sterile handling (e.g., syringes, insulin).

  • Clearance or final sale items.

  • Custom or special-order items.


3. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@folksmed.co.za / 010 006 7091 

  • Provide photos of the damaged item(s), packaging, and shipping label.

  • We will offer a replacement, store credit, or full refund, depending on the situation.


4. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer support at sales@folksmed.co.za/010 006 7091 with your order number and reason for return.


5. Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped. To request an exchange, contact us at sales@folksmed.co.za/ 010 006 7091.


7. Shipping Your Return

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or shipped in error. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance.
